Sighting Of New Moon of Ramadhan

The delegations tasked with sighting the new month of Ramadhan of 1443 Hijrah comprised Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ingenieur Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development; Dato Seri Paduka Architect Awang Haji Marzuki bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Development; Syar'ie Judges and officers of Shari'ah Courts, State Judicial Department, the Prime Minister's Office as well as officers of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Survey Department and State Mufti Department.

 

The delegation failed to sight the new moon of Ramadhan. The delegations were placed at Tanjung Batu, Kampung Sabun, Pekan Muara and Bukit Agok in Jerudong in the Brunei Muara District; Bukit Lumut in Belait District and Bukit Ambog in Tutong District.
