By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it was hereby announced that Brunei Darussalam will begin fasting on Sunday, the 3rd of April 2022.

The announcement on the sighting of the New Moon of Ramadhan was broadcast early yesterday evening through Radio and Television Brunei.
