The Minister of Religious Affairs further explained that since the movement restriction at night has ended, the public can go to the mosque from midnight to dawn.

The common events performed in the mosque are breaking of the fast and sahur or pre-dawn meal. At the moment, only take aways or using a dome table are allowed. Buffet meals are NOT allowed at all. There are also activities in the mosque such as tithe payment which is allowed to be conducted inside the mosque and also outside the mosque at the end of Ramadhan before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. Therefore, the sunat Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer is also performed according to the SOPs of the Friday prayer in which only men are allowed. All activities in the mosque must observe distancing of one foot between the large prayer mats. In the meantime, other SOPs while at suraus, mosques and religious halls are still ongoing. The implementation is set by the COVID-19 Steering Committee.
