The administration of the third dose of COVID-19 Vaccine or Booster Dose for children and adolescents aged 12 to 17, was held yesterday at all vaccination centres nationwide.

The programme, which started in November last year, involves the administration of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. For those who have received their second dose in the past at least three months, they can now book their third dose vaccination slot through the BruHealth app.

The administration of a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine is not only helps control transmission, but also protects children from the effects of COVID-19 infection.
