The voting and selection ceremony of village head candidate for Kawasan 1 and Kawasan 2 of the National Housing Scheme, RPN Meragang, Mukim Serasa was held yesterday morning at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Meragang Sixth Form Centre.

Voting was carried out by using ballot papers and e-Undi PMKK mobile application. The sole candidate to fill the position of Village Head for Kawasan 1, RPN Meragang, Awang Madzlan bin Haji Jumat, is 45-year-old. Meanwhile, the candidates to fill the position for Village Head Kawasan 2 were Awang Mohamad bin Haji Tamin, aged 51 and Awang Tasad bin Haji Tamam, aged 55.

The Voting and Selection Ceremony of Village Head Candidate was also held for Kawasan 2 and Kawasan 4 of the National Housing Scheme, RPN Lambak Kanan, Mukim Berakas B. The sole candidate to fill the position of Village Head for Kawasan 2 was Awang Haji Omar bin Haji Sapar, 55-year-old. Meanwhile, the candidate to fill the position of Village Head for Kawasan 4 was a 38-year-old Awang Haji Mohamad Fazzly bin Haji Suhaili. The results will be presented to the Appointment, Discipline and Disciplinary Board of the Penghulu Mukim and Village Head, Ministry of Home Affairs for further process.
