BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The practice of alms giving in the month of Ramadhan is highly recommended. However, the nature of generosity is also recommended to be done in other months in order to be a consistent practice and as a sign of gratitude for the blessings bestowed by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Alms giving is very broad in nature, not only in terms of money, property, food and sharing knowledge and even a smile is also recognised as an Alm that will definitely be rewarded by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Alms in various forms are distributed to anyone regardless of their status, religion, race and age. In this country, there are various ways for the public to give alms such as through the Short Message Service, SMS or through funds and funds established by the relevant parties and associations. Pengiran Haji Reduan Bin Pengiran Haji Badaruddin, Assistant Religious Officer said when we give alms, the person who receives the alms will thanks us and the rest will pray for the person who gives the alms, so that we will get more sustenance, good health and so on. We will get all the benefits from almsgiving practice especially in the month of Ramadhan Al-Mubarak.

As a nation that practices zikir, hopefully the practice of alms giving in any form will continue to be strengthen in shaping a generous and caring society.
