The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications as well as the Departments and Authority Agencies under it, Yestreday morning held a Reading of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil Ceremony for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's late parents and son, Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.  The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil was led by Awang Abdul Razak bin Samat, Imam of Sufri Bolkiah Perpindahan Berakas Mosque.

A similar ceremony was also held by a delegation of 100 vendors at Sumbangsih Mulia. Present was Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Kapitan Lela DiRaja Dato Paduka Awang Goh King Chin as the Chairman of the Sumbangsih Mulia Building. The reading of Surah Yasin and tahlil was led by Abdul Qayyum bin Kamarudjaman, a graduate of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute.
