At the media conference, the Minister of Health also explained on the previous BruHealth application in which its use will be expanded in the future and not the other way around. The Minister of Health stated this in response to the question on the use of QR code scanning which will be stopped when entering premises in several neighbouring countries.

Yang Berhormat explained, in the BruHealth application, one of its function is contact tracing. Scanning is not only for that function but other functions in the future such as registration at the clinic. Apart from that, another function that is currently ongoing is the tele consult in which patients do not have to come to the hospital and only conduct a video conference with the doctor or specialist.
