Various parties in the country continue to hold charity activities to reap multiple rewards in the last days of Ramadhan. Yesterday morning, the Brunei Darussalam Nurses Association, PENJURU held a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony.

Present was Datin Paduka Hajah Suraya Noraidah Binti Abdullah, President of PENJURU. The ceremony continued with the presentation of donations to orphans.

Also holding a similar ceremony was the RPN Kampung Pandan National Housing Scheme Mosque Takmir Committee. Among those present was Dato Paduka Haji Awang Jamain bin Haji Julaihi, Advisor of the Mosque Takmir Committee.

Meanwhile, 107 orphans received donations and basic food items at the 'Kami peduli' Orphans Sumbangsih Prihatin Ceremony. The donations were presented by Dayang Hajah Aminah binti Haji Momin, President of Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group, BBCSG. Held for two days, the ceremony was organised by BBCSG in collaboration with the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque Muslimah Takmir Committee.
