National Family Day is celebrated every Sunday on the first week of May each year. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Department of Community Development, JAPEM, yesterday morning held a reading of Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony and Surah Yassin in conjunction with the National Family Day Celebration 2022, virtually, and participated by over one hundred people.

The ceremony began with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony was also highlighted with a tazkirah or talk entitled 'Keluargaku Syurgaku'. Various activities and programmes in conjunction with the National Family Day have also been arranged throughout the year with the theme 'Keluargaku Harapanku' or My Family, My Hope.
