4 foreign men were arrested during the 'Operasi Tumpas' which targeted a furniture factory in Mukim Sengkurong. They were taken to the Law Enforcement, the Department of Immigration and National Registration for several offenses under the Immigration Act and Regulations Chapter 17.

The offenses include working with another employer, working not in accordance with what is stated in the Work Pass and the employee running away from the employer. For the offense of violating the immigration pass can be fined a compound of $600. And, the work pass was revoked and expelled from the country. Their names can be blacklisted to no longer be allowed to work in Brunei Darussalam. While employers who hire Immigration offenders can be fined $3,000 for each Immigration offender.
