The theme of the National Counselling Conference 2022 'Divine Vaccine in the Face of Uncertainty' can be considered as important in providing knowledge that every challenge faced must have a solution as well as an approach according to Islam. The application of the 'Divine Vaccine' will obviously have a huge impact on our daily lives. Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Dr Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti, state the matter at the 2022 National Counselling Conference held at the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB.

 Yang Berhormat also stressed the important of the conference as a platform to provide awareness to the community about the existence of counsellors and the importance of professional counselling services in the community.

According to Yang Berhormat, undoubtedly, the rapid development of the Nation and the Industrial Revolution 4 point 0, will continue to challenge society from various angles such as mental health, psychology, personality building and moral education. Therefore, external (physical) intervention alone is not enough, but must be supplemented with spiritual intervention guided by the Quran and Sunnah.

In facing the challenges of 21st century education, teachers need to be equipped with certain skills including guidance and counselling. The launching of the conference officiated by the State Mufti who also presented certificates and awards from the Brunei Darussalam Counselling Association, PERKAB. The conference was jointly organized by the Faculty of Education KUPU SB and PERKAB.
