Religious education is one of the main factors that can shape an excellent personality in a child. Therefore, parents need to emphasise religious education to their children to prevent social problems. The Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB through the Fiqh Al-Usrah Research Centre will organise the second International Mu'tamar of Fiqh Al-Usrah in conjunction with this year's National Family Day Celebration. The 2-day conference will be held starting 8th of June 2022.

According to Doctor Haji Sham bin Haji Amin, a teaching staff at KUPU SB as the Deputy Chairman of the conference during a media conference said Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti will present the premier paper, while the main papers will be tabled by presenters from abroad. Doctor Haji Sham shared that among the objectives of the conference are to uphold His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's titah on the importance of shaping a happy and perfect family as well as to strengthen Islamic family education among Muslims and to identify issues and challenges in family life.
