Towards promoting and enhancing awareness and understanding of drivers or road users on the importance of road safety, the National Road Safety Council MKKJR, yesterday MORNING held a briefing on the Road Safety Awareness Programme for the Government Sector.

The briefing was delivered by Awang Haji Mohammad Syafien bin Yandol, Assistant Director of Land Transport from the Secretariat of the National Road Safety Council. The briefing, among others, explained on the Accident Statistics, Driving Ethics and laws. The session was a continuation of the Road Safety Awareness Programme Briefing session for the Government Sector and the ongoing awareness programme in Brunei Darussalam Road Safety Strategic Plan 2025. The briefing was attended by staff from the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.
