A forum titled 'Islamic Values in Halal Tourism and Hospitality in Negara Brunei Darussalam' was held during ISHTah. Aimed at making the country a unique nation that is known by the public and internationally, the forum was held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

Among those in attendance was Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA. At the forum, panelists discussed on Islamic values aside from introducing the MESRA campaign instilled in tourism industry and hospitality. The four panellists comprised those from the Tourism Development Department; Brunei Association of Hotels; Darussalam Services Sendirian Berhad and Faculty of Syariah, KUPU SB as Co-Secretary of the International Waqaf Conference.
