A reception in conjunction with the International Waqaf Conference was held last night in Gadong, organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College and Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; and foreign envoys to the country. The event aimed to fete all presenters, exhibition participants and sponsors in making the International Waqaf Conference a success, in conjunction with the Brunei MYCE 2022
