An individual was issued a compound fine amounting to $300 for an offence under the Miscellaneous Offences Act for dumping rubbish at a public place in the Kampung Batu Marang.

Rizasahriwan Bin Tajuddin was given seven days to settle the compound fine. If fail, he will be brought to the court. If convicted, can be fined not less than $1,000 and not exceeding $3,000 for the first offense, and for the second or subsequent offenses can be fined not less than $3,000 and not more than $9,000 and sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or both.
