Road users are advised to remain cautious and prioritize safety while on the road. The Royal Brunei Police Force reported two fatalities in two separate accidents in Tutong District recently.

 

In an accident that occurred on 1st July, at Jalan Tasek Merimbun area, a 46-year-old local man passed away in a self-accident. The victim was reported to have passed away at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital, Tutong after suffering injuries. Meanwhile, an investigation is still underway to find out the cause of the accident.

 

 Meanwhile, a 38-year-old foreign man passed away in an accident involving three vehicles in the Kampung Kupang area. Preliminary investigations reported that a lorry, on its way from Tutong to Bandar Seri Begawan, was hit by the victim's vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Meanwhile, two other drivers were taken to Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital, Tutong for treatment.
