TEMBURONG
The Halal Food Control Division, Ministry of Religious Affairs, yesterday morning, held the Slaughtering Course and Practical for officers and staff of the division. The course was held at the Temburong District Syariah Affairs Division.
The course was attended by 40 officers and staff of the Department of Syariah Affairs and Halal Food Control Division as well as industrial training students from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA. Apart from improving knowledge and understanding as well as the correct slaughtering techniques based on Syarak Law, the course also aims to assist and improve the implementation of tasks, specifically during the auditing of local and abroad slaughterhouse and centre.
