Air Services Agreement Signing Ceremony

The government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, yesterday morning signed an Air Services Agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The signing of the Agreement marks another achievement in bilateral relations between the two countries. The ceremony took place at a hotel in Gadong.

 

Signing on behalf of the government was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, while the Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste was represented by His Excellency José Agustinho da Silva, Minister of Transportation and Communications. The signing of the agreement opens up opportunities for cooperation in the civil aviation sector and destinations between Brunei Darussalam and the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste. Also present were Her Excellency Adaljiza Albertina Xavier Reis Magno, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Democratic Republic of Timor Leste and His Excellency Abel Guterres, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
