A 38-year-old male suspect was found to be in possession of paraphernalia believed to be used for drug consumption. The findings were from an inspection carried out by the Royal Brunei Police Force on a suspicious vehicle.

The incident took place on 9th July night, at Bangar Town, Temburong District after the vehicle was chased by the police following the driver's refusal to stop after being ordered to do so. The suspect was finally detained at Jalan Kampung Sibulu. The inspection also found that the vehicle did not have a valid insurance and road tax. The suspect and the confiscated items were handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau for further investigation.
