Various parties held the rites of sacrifice this year. Members and families of the Brunei Darussalam Photography Association organised the distribution of sacrificial meat. The event took place at Kampung Luagan Dudok Community Centre, Tutong District.

The sacrificial meat was distributed by Awang Haji Muhd Hairolrani bin Abdullah, Acting Village Head of Kampung Bukit Panggal dan Kampung Luagan Dudok. Three buffaloes were sacrificed and distributed to 24 eligible people from the villages.

The rites of sacrifice were also held at mosques and private residences in Belait District. The distribution of the sacrificial meat is to express gratitude for the abundance of blessings bestowed by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
