SMJA Organise Sunnat Hajat prayer, Yaasiin Recitation for Student's SPE

The Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam Secondary School (SMJA) yesterday held a Sunnat Hajat prayer and mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin for 424 of their Year 8 and Year 11 students who will soon be sitting for their Students' Progress Examination (SPE), as well as the Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level and IGCSE examinations.
The religious ceremony took place at Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah.
It commenced with mass Sunnat Doha and Sunnat Hajat prayers, followed by the recitations of Doa Peperiksaan and Surah Yaasiin, before the event ended with the Doa Selamat.
Also present at yesterday's ceremony were the officers and teachers of SMJA, as well as the parents and guardians of participating students.
Among its objectives were to encourage the students to seek blessings from Allah the Almighty for their upcoming exams as well as to enhance relationships between the teachers, students, parents and guardians through religious activities.
