The first flight carrying 248 Brunei Darussalam haj pilgrims had arrived safely in the country yesterday morning.

 Present to welcome their arrival were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and wife; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.

In light of the country's endemic situation, the pilgrims are advised to adhere to the stipulated Standard Operating Procedure. The public is also reminded not to visit the pilgrims for 3 days after their arrival. Meanwhile, pilgrims are advised not to attend events or go to public places within the said period, do ART tests and report the results via the BruHealth application.
