JAKARTA

 

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has once again called for a thorough and transparent investigation into the controversial alleged fatal shooting of an officer while on duty as the personal secretary of the internal affairs chief.

 

“I have said it before: thoroughly investigate [the case]. Open the case as it is, let nothing be covered up,” Jokowi told reporters on the sidelines of his visit to Rinca Island in East Nusa Tenggara on Thursday.

 

The President has asked the National Police to maintain public trust
