An adaptation of Timor-Leste's cultural folklore titled 'The Boy and The Crocodile' enlivened the Brunei Book Festival 2022. Organised in conjunction with His Majesty's 76th Birthday celebration, the performance took place last night at the Indoor Stadium, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

 

Present was His Excellency Abel Guterres, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the country and Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports. The performance organized by the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in collaboration with the Reading and Literacy Association, ReLA among others aimed to promote cultural folklore, traditions, and dances of Timor-Leste.
