The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the 17th National Youth Day Celebration. The ceremony was held on 28th July afternoon, at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Mentiri.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The event was filled with Mass Fardu Maghrib and Sunat Hajat Prayers as well as the reading of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil for the late parents and son of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.
