The Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, DANA received a donation yesterday amounting $262,712 collected from the SMS Brunei Prihatin for DANA for 2021-2022. The ceremony took place yesterday afternoon at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

The donation was received by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as Chairman of DANA Board of Trustees. The 6-month project began on the 15th of December 2021 and ended on 15th of June 2022. The project was made successful by three Telecommunications Company namely DST, Progresif and Imagine together with Radio Television Brunei, Information Department and Mosque Affairs Department.

The function coincided with the presentation of the DANA Excellent Student Incentive Award, AIPC-DANA 2022 to 15 students who achieved excellent examination results in 2021. The award was presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of the DANA Board of Trustee. Each recipient received a computer, a printer and cash.
