SAMARINDA, KN – The commemoration of the 2022 National Dental Health Day (HKGN) which is held simultaneously in Indonesia is a momentum to raise the enthusiasm of all parties, especially in the health sector to improve the quality of human resources. Especially for students who are currently sitting in kindergarten (TK) and elementary school (SD).
Because, they are future leaders of the nation and the nation's successors in the future. For this reason, the East Kalimantan Provincial Government is greatly assisted by the support of dentists.
“The East Kalimantan provincial government and district/city governments feel helped by the medical support who has helped the local government to succeed in developing human resources in the health sector. Therefore, the momentum of the 2022 HKGN is a motivation to build better quality human resources," said the Governor of East Kalimantan Dr H Isran Noor when attending the HKGN Peak which was also part of the 2022 National Child Immunization Month (BIAN), at SD Negeri 008 Samarinda City, Jalan Awang Long Samarinda. , Monday 12 September 2022.
In addition, Isran also hopes that through HKGN, children are diligent in brushing their teeth every day on a regular basis, so that their health is always maintained.
With healthy teeth, according to him, besides being healthy, it will also make it easier for children to do activities.
"This means that children grow up healthy and fit, especially in terms of oral and dental health," he said.
Isran is happy, because the children in SD Negeri 008 Samarinda Kota are happy and healthy. Therefore, Isran emphasized, the health aspect is very important in supporting regional development.
“So, if the health sector is good, then regional development is also good. This means that the children are healthy. So that future regional development will be better," he explained.
It is known that there were 32,255 people participating in the HKGN 2022 summit in East Kalimantan. Appearing to be present were the Head of the East Kalimantan Health Office, Dr H Jaya Mualimin, the Mayor of Samarinda Andi Harun and the Forkopimda of the City of Samarinda as well as the OPD related to the scope of the City of Samarinda and the Management of the East Kalimantan PDGI.
