In conjunction with the Empowering Reading Culture Carnival, the Language and Literature Bureau through the Library Division, 14th September morning, organised a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony. The event took place at the Language and Literature Bureau Library in Kampung Pandan, Kuala Belait.

Present was Doctor Siti NorKhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. 61 participants comprising Mumong Mosque's Muslimah received the certificates. The Carnival is one of the annual activities of the Language and Literature Bureau in an effort to instil an interest of reading among the people and residents of the country.
