​The Marine Police, Royal Brunei Police Force has apprehended a boat operator believed to be attempting to bring in undeclared contraband. The arrest was made on the 13th of September on the waters of the Sultan Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge.

Inspection made, found various contraband namely 12 boxes of raw and frozen chicken as well as 2 boxes of raw and frozen fish. The suspect, a 36-year-old foreign national was handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department together with the contraband for further investigation.
