Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad, BSM continued the 'Fill Safe, Feel Safe 2022 campaign' by focusing on several Shell retail stations in the country. The fourth campaign organised by BSM for four weeks aimed to provide awareness and compliance with the Retail Safe Refueling Guidelines. Among the guidelines that need to be adhered to, are smoking is prohibited while refuelling, switch off the car engine, to make payments after refuelling and to refuel with an approved jerry can and use a recommended container.

Service champions play a vital role in ensuring the community is safe while refuelling at Shell retail stations. Supervisor of Tumasek Petrol Station said to ensure the safety of all Shell retail stations, the public involvement and cooperation is important by complying with all the don'ts when refuelling vehicles.

A similar campaign was extended to the Belait District to ensure Shell retail stations in general and service champions specifically to achieve 'Goal Zero' or incident-free site. Non-compliance to the safety guidelines may expose both customers and service champions to potential dangers.

The 'Fill Safe, Feel Safe campaign' also took place at Penyurat Haji Abu Bakar bin Jambol Filling Station in Kampung Suran, Tutong District. Apart from focusing on the public cooperation with service champions, the campaign also hoped to strengthen the compliance culture across all Shell retail stations.
