​The 'Empower Reading Culture Carnival' 2022 is hoped to instil the culture of reading within the community and people in the country. The carnival continues at the Language and Literature Bureau's library in Tutong District.

In attendance was Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Language and Literature Bureau. The carnival included a reading activity, motivational talk delivered by 3 invited speakers, sales, exhibition and sports activities. The event aims to highlight the role and function of a library in encouraging the culture of reading in this technology era, in addition to cultivating a library-friendly society. The carnival is open to the public until the 18th September, from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
