Guessing the number of books in a box was among the activities that attract the attention of visitors at the 'Empower Reading Culture Carnival' 2022 in Tutong District Language and Literature Bureau's library.

Various activities have been lined up including a children's reading corner, sports festival, as well as exhibitions on the library's 30 years of establishment, Village Consultative Council and the Senior Citizen Activity Centre. The event aims to highlight the role and function of a library in encouraging the culture of reading in this technology era, in addition to cultivating a library-friendly society.

The carnival can also raise the public's awareness on the importance of the culture of reading.
