KETAPANG, KN – The Ketapang Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE) official with the initials S and 3 of his subordinates was transported by the West Kalimantan Regional Police team to the Ketapang Police Resort at around 16.10 Wiba today (21/09/22).

The news of the sudden inspection circulated through a short WhatsApp message. Some even said that the head of the Ketapang LPSE had a hand arrest operation (OTT).

Regarding this, the media crew asked the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ketapang Police AKP Muhammad Yasin. However, he was not willing to explain the details of the incident.

"Yes, there is that from the Regional Police, but I can't go into detail about what and what the problem is. We only provide space. They (Polda) are in charge,” said Yasin, Wednesday (21/09/22) at the Ketapang Police.

Observations at the LPSE Ketapang building in the regent's office complex at around 16.20 WIT, the room was quiet and locked. There are no signs of police activities such as installing a police line.

Likewise with ASN in the LPSE section, there is not a single staff or ASN in the room.

Only a few staff from the general section of the Ketapang Secretariat whose room is next to the LPSE office are still getting ready to go home from work.

One of the LPSE staff when asked about the activities of the West Kalimantan Police today tried to cover up the information. He even admitted that he didn't know and said that his room was not the LPSE's office, but the general complaint section.

While at the Ketapang Police, the guard personnel at the Polres guard post also did not know, only conveying that there were ASN brought by the Polda team.

While being monitored in the second floor criminal and detective unit of the Ketapang Police at around 17.15 Wiba today, there were 3 men dressed in white with black pants in the PPA unit of the Ketapang Police.

When looking for where the position of S is not known exactly which room it is in.

However, it was seen that in the Criminal Investigation Unit room there was a man similar to S sitting with his back to the desk in the Invisibility room, in front of him there was a person in civilian clothes talking.

Then at around 5:40 pm, there were 2 ASN men from the LPSE section who were asked by the media but lied about the activities of the West Kalimantan Police, went up and entered the Criminal Investigation Unit room with a number of documents, but did not stay long and immediately left without speaking when asked.

From the information circulating, S and his staff were examined by officers because their activities at LPSE were suspected of having irregularities.

The LPSE section is a work unit under the Regional Secretariat that handles project tenders for all offices in Ketapang district.

Reportedly, the role of S is very central in determining the winner of the project auction.

So that many contractors who usually get projects, since the S era as the Head of LPSE, admit that it is very difficult to get it even though all the requirements for the auction have been considered in accordance with the provisions.
