All knowledge, experience and memories of the retirees throughout their service with the Ministry of Home Affairs and its departments will continue to be used and made as a useful guidance for those who are still in service. The matter was stated by the Permanent Secretary for Security and Welfare at the Ministry of Home Affairs at the Retirement Certificate Presentation and Appreciation Ceremony. The function took place at the Legislative Council Building in Bandar Seri Begawan.

In his speech, Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut said that all contributions made by the retirees, will be remembered and appreciated as well as making supplications for the retirees' success in life.

370 officers and staff who retired in 2019, 2020 and 2021 received their certificates presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs.
