​The Dikir Maulidur Rasul continues to resound at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide in commemorating the Birthday Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam. The Prime Minister's Office and Departments under it continued the Dikir Syarafil Anam Ceremony. It took place at Kampung Bukit Beruang National Housing Scheme Mosque in Tutong District, 4th October afternoon.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. A presentation of wakaf or endowment was also held. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang MOHAMMED Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Ministers at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the departments under it also organised a similar event on 4th October at Masjid Universiti. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The function organised by the Royal Customs and Excise Department was also attended by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and its departments also continued the Dikir Maulud Ceremony at Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam Mosque in Kampung Sengkarai, Tutong District. Participating in the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. It ran concurrently with presentation of endowment. Also present were Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
