The Maulidur Rasul celebration was also organised by several parties in the country. Yesterday morning, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD held a ceremony at the University.

Present was Pengiran Doctor Mohd Iskandar bin Pengiran Haji Petra, Acting Vice Chancellor of UBD. It was further highlighted with a special talk title 'Cinta Rasullulah Cinta Luarbiasa'.  The celebration was organised by UBD Students' Affairs Section through the Spiritual and Community Services, Religious and Spiritual Executive, UBD Students' Association.

The Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque Committee, Kampung Sungai Kebun also held a similar ceremony late yesterday afternoon. Present was Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. The function included recitation of Dikir and Qasidah.
