30 participants comprising students from secondary schools, pre-university, and higher education institutions as well as officers and staff from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports received certificates at the Young Writers Programme Closing Ceremony. The ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.

Certificates were presented by Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau. Through the programme, participants learned on poetry creative writing process comprising the aspects of language, writing technique and the source of inspiration. The programme focused on the 3 day poetry writing workshop starting from the 10th of October, organised by the Language and Literature Bureau through the Literature and Magazine Division.
