The Institute of Brunei Technical Education IBTE, always strives to equip its students with the skills and high level marketability required by the industry. Yesterday morning, IBTE signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with Seng Hoe Huat Group of Companies for the IBTE Dual System Apprenticeship Programme. The Signing Ceremony took place at IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus.

Present was Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. Signing on behalf of IBTE was Dr Hj Mohd Zamri bin Hj Sabli, Director of Technical Education and Chief Executive Officer of IBTE, while Seng Hoe Huat Group of Companies was represented by Wong Hui Ting, the company's Director. Through the programme, the Automotive Technical field will be conducted this year, while the fields of Culinary and Service Professionals as well as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning will be carried out in the coming year. Under the MoU, IBTE students will have the opportunity to gain experience and practice the knowledge learned via real work experience, in addition to acquiring the necessary skills through monitoring and guidance from experienced experts.
