Yeah, yeah. She wasn’t playing it – just had the game open to keep an eye for if anything appeared, right?

That might have been the case, but it did look pretty unfortunate for Norway’s prime minister who was caught checking out Pokemon Go on her phone screen while she was in parliament.

Many people have given up the game by now, but we applaud Erna Solberg for keeping the dream alive, even if it could have been timed better.

Maybe there was a dratini nest in Norway or on her recent sighting screen, we can’t really blame her.

The politician has been open about her love for the game, previously telling reporters she wanted to hatch some of her 10km eggs in downtime on a trip to Slovakia.

A Norwegian newspaper pictured her checking the map screen during a debate – although it looked like she had some GPS issues to contend with.

he politician who was speaking at the time was Trine Skei Grande, a politician who was herself caught playing Pokemon Go in parliament in August.

‘I think that Trine will like that I opened the game while she was at the pulpit,’ Erna said, according to Norway’s TV 2.

Grande tweeted: ‘She heard what I said, we ladies can do two things at the same time you know.’
