(KPL) President Thongloun Sisoulith, accompanied by his spouse and a delegation of senior officials arrived at Brunei International Airport in Bandar Seri Begawan on Monday afternoon for a state visit between Oct 24 and 26.

He was greeted by Brunei Minister of Home Affairs Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman.

The visit is in response to the invitation of Sultan of Brunei Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

The President is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Brunei Sultan to review the bilateral relations between the two countries over the past years and discuss cooperation directions for years to come to enhance the traditional relations of friendship and sound cooperation between the Lao PDR and Brunei Darussalam.
