Since 2015, Brunei Darussalam is committed to playing a part in the global commitment towards pursuing the Agenda 2030. One of the key messages emphasized in Brunei Darussalam's First Voluntary National Review, VNR, report presented virtually at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs in 2020, is that Brunei shall achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in line with Wawasan Brunei 2035. This was stated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy during the Second VNR Workshop for Brunei Darussalam. The opening of the workshop was held yesterday morning at the Theater Hall, Prime Minister's Office.

The event continued with the launch of the official Instagram account, SDGs_Brunei, which will be one of the social media platforms used to share national development in SDGs. The three-day workshop discussed whole-of-nation efforts, as well as challenges and the way forward in implementing the SDGs. Also present were Deputy Ministers at the Prime Minister's Office.
