The Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE Convocation Festival is now taking place at the School of Aviation, IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus, Berakas in conjunction with the 30th IBTE Convocation Ceremony.  The three-day Convocation Festival is intended to act as a platform for prospective graduates to improve their skills after graduation.

The launching ceremony was officiated by Awang Haji Muhammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport And Infocommunications. The 1st convocation festival is part of IBTE's efforts to achieve the IBTE Vision in giving prospective graduates exposure to existing initiatives and career guidance through workshops and briefings. Open to the public, the festival provides various activities including an exhibition of innovative projects, bazaar, blood donation campaign and career guidance workshop by industry partners.

The Convocation Festival in conjunction with the 30th IBTE Convocation was also held in Belait District. The festival is open to the public for three days until Wednesday. The 30th IBTE Convocation Ceremony will be held on 15th November at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.
