Taib Attends 260th Conference Of Rulers Meeting At Istana Negara

Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud attended the 260th meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 29 and 30.
According to a press statement, the Head of State was accompanied by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan at the two-day meeting.
The 260th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers was chaired by Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.
Among those present were Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail, Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Kedah Ruler Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah, Terengganu Ruler Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Penang Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak, Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka Tun Mohd Ali Rustam, and Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sabah Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.
Pahang was represented by Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah while Kelantan was represented by Tengku Mahkota Kelantan Tengku Dr Muhammad Faiz Petra.
The last meeting, which was chaired by Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail, was previously held in June.
