Bethenny Frankel just made a major splash in the New York City real estate market.
Only 24 hours after the Real Housewives star listed her infamous Tribeca apartment for $6.95 million, it received an offer (at full asking price, no less!) from one extremely interested buyer.
It's not surprising they'd want to call the 3,330 square-foot apartment their very own home, which according to The Wall Street Journal, recently underwent a $500,000 makeover. Not to mention its enormous closet, which Bethenny renovated from one of the bedrooms.
Frankel confirmed the exciting news on Twitter, and fellow Bravo reality star Fredrik Eklund, who brokered the sale, also congratulated the savvy businesswoman on Instagram with a stunning snapshot of the abode's Central Park view.
Those familiar with Frankel's personal life will be quite familiar with this particular space, as the Big Apple apartment became a major point of contention for Frankel and ex-husband Jason Hoppy during their highly-publicized divorce proceedings over the past few years.
In 2011, the 45-year-old purchased the home for $5 million under a trust that named both Frankel and Hoppy as beneficiaries. However, during a court hearing in March 2016, a judge ruled the trust was actually invalid. During one of many court hearings in 2014, Frankel said living with Hoppy after their breakup was "brutal," "horrendous" and "excruciating." Unable to co-habitate any longer, she stayed in hotels and even got a temporary apartment before finding a permanent place to live in SoHo.
It wasn't until July 2016, nearly four years after the former couple separated, that Hoppy moved out of the apartment.
Saying goodbye to the property has been an emotional process for Frankel, who recently opened up about her experience returning to the home on her Sirius XM radio show, B Real with Bethenny.
"I sobbed for hours," the reality star said, later adding, "I thought it was going to be, like, the biggest party ever. I'd be roller-skating through there with my top off, my tits hanging out, so excited—and there's nothing good about any of it. It was all just remembering moving in there. It was a hideous experience, and I just didn't know how to even process the feeling."
Congratulations to Bethenny on her new beginnings!
