A disturbing photo of a baby sleeping on her head has gone viral after it was tweeted by the babysitter.

 ‘Do I call the parents or exorcist?’ Mikaela Long wrote, which we think is a perfectly valid question given the circumstances.

Long, a social media star from California, was looking after her niece for the first time when she noticed the creepy sleeping position on the baby monitor.

Obviously we’re not the only ones weirded out by it.

Since she posted it last week, the photo has been retweeted more than 50,000 times and likes more than 120,000 times.

The child’s mum told Buzzfeed: ‘She’s been quite acrobatic lately. It baffles me as well.

‘I think it’s just her settling down and getting comfortable.’

Of course. Because what’s more comfortable than doing a headstand in your sleep?
