Selangau Houses In Precarious Situation Following Landslide
Bomba photo shows the soil movement which caused the houses to be structurally unsound.

SELANGAU
A landslide last night has left two houses at Rumah Impu, Sungai Buloh here in a dangerous situation.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Operations Centre said in a statement that the landslide affected the back section of the houses, which are home to two families with a total of 15 residents.
“Selangau fire station received a call regarding the incident at 9.18pm.
“After that a total of seven firefighters were deployed to the location,” said the statement.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found the toilet at the back of one of the semi-detached houses was particularly structurally unsound due to soil movement.
According to one of the owners of the house, the landslide occurred around 8pm.
No one was injured in the incident.
The statement added firefighters monitored the situation and advised residents of both houses to move in with relatives for safety reasons.
