(KPL) The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) last week provided medical equipment for hearing and speech test purposes to the Centre of Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health.

 

 

(KPL) The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) last week provided medical equipment for hearing and speech test purposes to the Centre of Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health.

 

 

The handover of the medical equipment, worth 51,000 US dollars, took place in Vientiane between Country Director of KOICA Office to the Lao PDR Ms. Myungjin Kim and Deputy Minister of Health Sanong Thongsana in the presence of relevant officials of both sides.

 

 

Previously, the Centre of Medical Rehabilitation with assistance and support from development partners including KOICA, implemented several cooperation projects to strengthen the capacity building and develop infrastructure of the center so that it can provide better service, especially to patients with hearing and speaking difficulties.
