The Launching Ceremony of the BFI Sendirian Berhad Plant was in conjunction with His Majesty's working visit to TotalEnergies EP, Brunei B.V, TEPB for the company's 35th Anniversary celebration The Monarch first toured TotalEnergies EP, Brunei B.V, TEPB at Lumut. Also present were His Majesty's sons, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Upon arrival at TotalEnergies EP, Brunei B.V, TEPB, His Majesty was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof; Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, and Mr Jerome Saniez, General Manager of TotalEnergies EP, Brunei B.V.
Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat were read by Awang Mohd Shah Bin Haji Taip, Belait District Syariah Subordinate Court Judge.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Jerome among other matters highlighted the safety aspect as the company's priority and core value in recording 23 years of operations in the country without Lost Time Incident. His Majesty signed a plaque and officiated TotalEnergies 35th Anniversary celebration.
A video clip showed the development of TotalEnergies from the start of its operations in the country in 1987 until it commissioned the Maharajalela South Project with the installation of the MLJ3 platform involving more than 60 local employees in 2017.
His Majesty then viewed the 'History Tunnel-Archive of TEPB Achievements' Exhibition that showcased the company's development. His Majesty also toured the Onshore Processing Plant.
After touring the Onshore Processing Plant, His Majesty visited the Central Control Room, CCR.
